Regular hydration is the foundation of health. If you find it difficult to drink enough water, here are ten tricks to solve this problem.
1. Using the small steps method
In drinking water, as in building any habit, repetition and persistence are the most important things. Therefore, choose one small goal, e.g. drinking half a liter of water a day, and work on it for the next few weeks.
2. Finding your favorite type and brand of water
Each of the available store waters will taste different, so it is a good idea to look for one that will fit your preferences. We encourage you to look for your ideal.

This is the basis for building a water drinking habit. At the beginning, we suggest setting two reminder signals and reaching for the water as soon as the bell sounds.
4. Starting the day with a glass of water
Starting the day with a glass of your favorite water can increase your overall water intake throughout the day, support morning brain performance, and regulate blood pressure.
5. Using jugs of water while working
If you have trouble remembering to drink water, help your memory and display your drink where necessary. Using jugs/water bottles means that water is close at hand.
6. Pouring water into a glass and placing it within sight
This is an advanced tip from point five - if the jug is not doing its job, go a step further and pour water into a glass. It is important that it is within sight, and as soon as you empty it, fill it up immediately.
7. Drinking from short and squat glasses
Research shows that we drink more drinks from short and wide glasses than tall and thin ones. It is therefore worth checking your glasses and investing in those that support the habit of drinking water!
8. Experimenting with natural flavors
There is nothing stopping you from spicing up the taste of water. You can add various herbs, such as mint, basil, lemon balm, spices such as ginger root, cloves, peppercorns, or fruits and vegetables - green cucumber, citrus slices, hollowed-out watermelon, frozen berries. Let your imagination run wild!
9. Buy a water bottle or measuring bottle
If you are a task-oriented person and like to see progress in your activities, using a measuring bottle will be the solution for you. There are different sizes of bottles available on the market, so choose the size that suits you.
10. Carrying water with you
Sometimes it will not be possible, but try to have water with you in different situations - when traveling, at work, on the way to the office, or on a walk with your dog.
